Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how CrewFirst LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the SummonYourFriends website, platform, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and any other information you provide during registration.

User Content. When you use the Service to generate trading cards, we collect the photographs you upload and the descriptive information you provide (such as names, nicknames, hobbies, personality traits, and other details about the individuals depicted). Photographs may contain biometric identifiers, including facial geometry, which our AI systems process to generate stylized card artwork.

Order and Payment Information. When you place an order, we collect your billing address, shipping address (or the shipping address of a designated recipient), and order details. Payment card information is collected and processed directly by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store your full credit card number.

Communications. When you contact us for support or other inquiries, we collect the content of your messages and any information you choose to provide.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

Usage Data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, cards generated, time spent on pages, and referring URLs.

Device and Technical Data. We collect information about the device and browser you use to access the Service, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, and screen resolution.

Cookies and Similar Technologies. We use cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to recognize your browser, remember your preferences, and understand how you use the Service. You may control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling certain cookies may limit your ability to use some features of the Service.

Anonymous Analytics Cookie. When you visit the Service, we set a first-party analytics cookie (cf_anon_id) containing a random identifier. This cookie lets us understand aggregate product usage before a visitor signs up — which pages are viewed, which features are tried, and what percentage of visitors go on to create an account. The identifier is opaque (a random UUID), not linkable to a real person, and never shared with third parties. If you voluntarily create an account, the identifier is linked to your account so we can see the full pre-signup journey; otherwise it remains anonymous. You can opt out at any time by enabling Do Not Track in your browser, by deleting the cookie, or by setting the cf_anon_optout=1 cookie. We do not log IP addresses alongside this identifier.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third-party services you use to log in to the Service (such as Google or Apple sign-in), limited to the information you authorize those services to share with us.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Providing the Service. Processing your photographs and descriptive inputs through our AI systems to generate trading card content and artwork; rendering card previews; manufacturing physical cards through our print fulfillment partners; and delivering orders to you or your designated recipients.

Account Management. Creating and managing your account; maintaining your Card Vault (digital collection of generated cards); and communicating with you about your account and orders.

Payment Processing. Processing transactions and sending related information, including purchase confirmations, invoices, and receipts.

Order Fulfillment. Transmitting order details and shipping addresses to our third-party print-on-demand fulfillment partners for the purpose of manufacturing and shipping your orders (see Section 3).

Improving the Service. Analyzing usage patterns and trends to improve the Service, develop new features, and optimize the user experience.

Marketing and Communications. Sending you promotional emails about new features, themes, seasonal offerings, and other updates related to the Service, where you have opted in or where permitted by applicable law. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any promotional email or by contacting us at support@summonyourfriends.com.

Safety and Compliance. Detecting, preventing, and addressing fraud, abuse, security issues, and technical problems; enforcing our Terms of Service; and complying with applicable legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

3.1 Print Fulfillment Partners

When you place an order for physical cards, we transmit the following information to our third-party print-on-demand fulfillment partner(s) for the purpose of manufacturing and shipping your order:

  • The print-ready card image files (which incorporate AI-generated artwork derived from your uploaded photographs)
  • The recipient's shipping name and address
  • Order specifications (card stock, finish, quantity, packaging type)

Our fulfillment partners are contractually obligated to use this information solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing or other purposes.

3.2 Payment Processor

Payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe, Inc. for the purpose of processing transactions. Stripe's collection and use of your payment information is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.

3.3 Service Providers

We may share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, email delivery, and customer support. These providers are granted access only to the information necessary to perform their functions and are contractually obligated to protect your information.

3.4 AI Processing Services

Your uploaded photographs and descriptive inputs are transmitted to third-party AI service providers for the purpose of generating card text content and card artwork. These providers process your data pursuant to their respective data processing agreements and privacy policies. Photographs are used solely as reference inputs for generating stylized, original artwork and are not stored by these providers beyond the processing session unless otherwise required by their data retention policies.

3.5 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

3.6 Business Transfers

If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Data Retention

4.1 Account Data

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

4.2 User Content

Photographs you upload are retained for as long as necessary to generate your card content and fulfill any pending orders. For completed orders, we retain the generated card images in your Card Vault for as long as your account is active, enabling you to view and reorder cards. If you delete your account, your Card Vault contents will be deleted within 30 days.

4.3 Order Records

We retain order transaction records (including shipping addresses and order details) for a minimum of seven (7) years to comply with applicable tax and accounting obligations.

5. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL), secure storage of data at rest, access controls limiting employee access to personal data, and regular security assessments.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Your Rights and Choices

6.1 Access and Correction

You may access and update your account information at any time through your account settings. If you need to correct information that cannot be updated through the Service, contact us at support@summonyourfriends.com.

6.2 Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information by contacting us at support@summonyourfriends.com. We will process your request within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain information.

6.3 Marketing Communications

You may opt out of receiving promotional emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any promotional email or by contacting us at support@summonyourfriends.com. Even if you opt out of marketing emails, we may still send you transactional or service-related communications (such as order confirmations and shipping notifications).

6.4 Cookies

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.

6.5 Do Not Track

The Service does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. We will update this policy if we adopt a Do Not Track standard in the future.

7. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to request deletion of your personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise these rights, contact us at support@summonyourfriends.com. We will verify your identity before processing your request.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@summonyourfriends.com and we will promptly delete such information.

9. Biometric Data Notice

The Service processes photographs of individuals to generate AI-stylized card artwork. This processing may involve the analysis of facial geometry and other biometric identifiers. By uploading photographs to the Service, you represent that you have obtained the informed written consent of any individuals depicted in the photographs for the collection and processing of their biometric data through the Service, to the extent required by applicable biometric privacy laws, including the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) and similar state laws.

Biometric data derived from uploaded photographs is used solely for the purpose of generating card artwork during the active processing session. We do not sell, lease, trade, or otherwise profit from biometric data. Biometric data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, and in any event no longer than three (3) years from the date of last interaction with the Service, or as otherwise required by applicable law.

10. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your country. By using the Service, you consent to such transfer, storage, and processing.

11. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through the Service.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on the Service with a revised "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, by sending you an email notification. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
